Not your Mama's Car

Many things change when you have your first child. You can't go everywhere you want to go or stay out as late as you want. You have to plan things out a little more and make sure you are prepared for babies to do what babies like to do. Until last night, both of our vehicles were 2 door. Laura had a small Hyundai Tiburon that she absolutely loved. I bought it for her on her first 29th Birthday as some consolation of what was to come. I am hoping for something cool as well ... Maybe a trike? The main problem with the Tiburon however wasn't the putting things in the back seat. It was fitting in the front seats with the back seats full. We had to pull our seats so far ahead that the driver had to hug the steering wheel and no one could fit in the passenger seat. So last night we traded it in for a 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona. This is not your Mama's Car. It is fully equipped with a 5.7 liter V-8 Hemi Engine that has 350 Horses under the hood that are raging to go fast. It is also fully equipped with everything from a Navigation system to a DVD Player to a remote start with only 6000 miles. It has a multiple displacement system that will shift from 8 Cylinders to 4 cylinders when driving at highway speeds. This will allow you to get up to 25 mpg. So it has all the bells and whistles and it is a blast to drive. We will have to come up with a wager on who gets the first ticket. I think I will win or actually lose for getting the ticket.
